Having worked in Asia for almost 25 years, Daniel has extensive experience in advising clients ranging from SMEs to large multi-nationals on international structuring, tax, cross-border investments, and practical approaches to doing business in Asia, particularly Hong Kong and China.

Prior to joining Vistra in 2010, Daniel served as Vice President and Chief Representative (Beijing) for another international trust and corporate services provider, and as Senior Sales Manager for Microsoft Corporation of Korea.

As Global Lead, Key Account Management, Daniel works to develop and execute a global program to establish industry best practices based on a deep understanding of our client’s current and future business requirements, obtained through a holistic and collaborative approach.

Daniel is an international public speaker on doing business in Asia and has advised organisations including banks, law firms, accounting firms, and government agencies. He is also a former director of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and a member of the British Chamber of Commerce, the Dutch Chamber of Commerce, the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce, the Belgium-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, and the Australian Chamber of Commerce.

Daniel, who has a Masters of Business (Management) from Monash University in Australia, is fluent in English, Mandarin and speaks Cantonese. Outside of work he alternates his time between family and practicing the dark arts of the front row on the rugby pitch for Typhoons RFC.
